Honest 2026 pricing from a Georgia builder with 1,000+ installs. What you actually pay depends on size, contour, and base prep — not on slick salespeople.
Starter: $8,500–$14,000 (200–300 sq ft, 2 cups). Mid: $15,000–$24,000 (400–600 sq ft, 3–4 cups, fringe + chipping pad). Premium: $25,000–$45,000 (700–1,200 sq ft, multi-tier, bunker option). Estate: $45,000–$90,000+ (1,200+ sq ft full short-game complex).
| Project Tier | Typical Range | What’s Included |
|---|---|---|
| Starter — 200–300 sq ft | $8,500–$14,000 | GAB base, 2 cups, single contour, basic fringe, silica infill, rolling |
| Mid — 400–600 sq ft | $15,000–$24,000 | Engineered base, 3–4 cups, multi-tier contour, chipping pad, fringe rough |
| Premium — 700–1,200 sq ft | $25,000–$45,000 | Tour yarn, complex shaping, drainage system, sand bunker option, mounding |
| Estate — 1,200+ sq ft | $45,000–$90,000+ | Multi-green complex, bunkers, tee box, lighting prep, water-feature option |
What changes price within a tier: subgrade condition (red clay vs. sand), site access (can a skid steer reach it?), tree-root removal, drainage requirements, and whether you want bunker sand, decorative boulders, or lighting roughed in.
We frequently get called to fix greens installed 2–4 years prior by cheaper crews. The pattern is identical: they skipped base prep. Georgia red clay shifts when it can't drain, and the green develops low spots, lifting seams, and slow rolls. The 'savings' on the front end becomes a $5,000–$12,000 rebuild on the back end.
| Spec | Cheap Install | LawnLogic |
|---|---|---|
| Subgrade depth | 1–2" of sand on dirt | 4–6" GAB compacted in lifts |
| Drainage | None / 'sheet flow' | Crown + French drain ribbon if needed |
| Yarn | Polypropylene 'putting turf' | Tour-grade nylon, UV 8/8 |
| Infill | Sand dumped in | Kiln-dried silica, brushed + rolled |
| Rolling | Tamped by foot | 1,500-lb power roller, 3 passes |
| Warranty | 1 year (good luck claiming) | 15-Year Platinum, written |
| Stimp at year 3 | 5–7 (slow, matted) | 10–13 (still tournament speed) |

Financing starting at
Around $8,500 for a true 200 sq ft, 2-cup starter green built to spec. Anything materially below that is cutting base prep, yarn quality, or infill — and you'll pay for it within 2–3 years.
Yes. Every quote we write is fixed-fee with cups, brass collars, flagsticks, fringe rough, infill, and rolling included. No surprise add-ons at install time.
Sometimes — yes. If you can excavate to grade and haul off the spoils, we'll credit roughly $1.50–$3.00/sq ft off the quote. We'll spec exactly what you need to remove and how deep.
We've gotten 200+ HOA approvals across Cobb, Fulton, Cherokee, and Forsyth. We'll provide drawings, materials specs, and (under Georgia HB 548) the legal letter that prevents most HOAs from blocking turf installations entirely.
Most backyard greens: 3–5 working days. Weather can extend that — Georgia thunderstorm season is real.
We can repair them — re-bond seams, re-infill, re-cup, re-shape — but our 15-Year Platinum Promise only applies to greens we install start-to-finish. Repairs carry a 1-year workmanship warranty.
Free site walk, written scope, no high-pressure tactics — we'll tell you exactly what your yard can hold and what it costs.
